Key duties...
Customer Service: Greeting and assisting guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their needs, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
Table Service: Setting up and maintaining banquet or event tables, serving food and beverages, and clearing dishes in a timely and efficient manner.
Communication: Effectively communicating with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other service team members to coordinate the smooth flow of the event.
Attention to Detail: Paying close attention to details such as table settings, food presentation, and ensuring that guests' requests and preferences are met.
Problem-solving: Quickly addressing any issues or challenges that may arise during the event, such as handling special dietary requests or resolving guest concerns.
Teamwork: Collaborating with other event staff, including servers, bartenders, and event coordinators, to ensure seamless execution of the event.
Efficiency: Working efficiently to ensure timely service and contribute to the overall success of the event.
Anticipate guest needs and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, buffets, and food station's
Describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item's origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicate guest requests including any special needs or requests to the kitchen.
To retain menu information including all allergen notices.
What we are looking for...
A successful Events Operations Assistant for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years' experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service. You'll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.

Fluent in English
Organised and reliable
Ability to handle feedback to achieve member satisfaction
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Physical Requirements:
Must be over the age of 18
Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects by hand
Able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
