About the Role
As a Service Technician, you’ll play a vital part in keeping marine and offshore operations safe by servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of survival equipment - including lifeboats, liferafts, and critical safety systems. You’ll enjoy diverse work, travel opportunities, and the chance to work with industry-leading equipment and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out inspections, maintenance, servicing and repairs on lifeboats, liferafts, fire safety systems and other essential survival equipment.
2. Complete accurate service reports and documentation.
3. Transport, install and return serviced equipment to customer sites and vessels.
4. Deliver excellent customer service and technical support on-site.
5. Travel for training, service work and offshore assignments, sometimes at short notice.
6. Keep tools, equipment and vehicles well-maintained and compliant.
7. Work safely and in line with Survitec policies, procedures and industry standards.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience:
8. Experience servicing or maintaining marine safety or survival equipment such as lifeboats, liferafts, or safety systems.
9. Good understanding of inspection, reporting and compliance.
10. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
11. Valid passport and full UK driving licence.
12. Flexibility and willingness to travel as needed.
