Where will you be working?
MEICA and capital maintenance - Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services.
What will you be doing?
You'll be part of a mobile maintenance team working alongside Mechanical Fitters and C&I Technicians. Your role will involve carrying out critical maintenance of electrical assets within the Water Sector, including:
* Interpreting and using electrical schematics, manuals, asset standards, and other technical documents to assist installations and corrective maintenance tasks.
* Working according to the company's and customer's safe systems of work and permit to work systems.
* Inspecting and maintaining site switchgear, UPS systems, lighting, and power.
* Maintaining electrical actuators (Rotork, etc.).
* Fault finding on Low Voltage equipment.
What’s essential?
* Level 3 Electrical NVQ in Maintenance or Installations.
* 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regs (BS7671).
* Industrial experience.
* Valid UK Driving Licence.
* C&G 2391 advantageous but not essential.
* Relevant Electrotechnical Certifications (C&G 2365 or Diploma in Electrical Engineering).
* Compex Ex 01-04 advantageous but not essential.
