Veritas Education is currently working in partnership with a well‑regarded secondary school in Kirklees to recruit a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join their team from January 2026. This is a long‑term placement with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
About the Role
* Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the national curriculum
* Support pupils in achieving their academic potential
* Contribute to the wider school community and uphold high standards of behaviour and learning
The Ideal Candidate Will
* Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
* Have experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
* Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for literature and language
* Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
* Be adaptable, enthusiastic and a team player
