About Cera
Cera's vision is to empower people to live their best lives, in their own home, through the use of technology, professional care and support. Joining Cera, you are contributing to making this vision a reality. The work you do promotes the dignity, respect, independence and choice of our service users, enabling you to make a real difference.
We are changing the way people receive care by empowering our professional carers with insight and improved decision making. Our technology is enabling carers to do what they do best, care.
About you:
We are looking for a passionate and commercial leader to support the growth and development of our Cera Branch as an extension of our family. As one of the largest service providers, we have an opportunity to bring service and support to the most vulnerable in our communities and continue on our journey to being the UK's fastest growing technology-enabled care provider.
This is an exciting opportunity for a natural leader who adopts both a commercial and people-first approach and enjoys building successful teams in partnership with local authorities.
You will be responsible for developing the people and processes that result in a high-performing and compliant branch, and aligning these with the wider Cera teams.
Responsibilities:
1. Adopt a Carer-first approach, continually improving how we administer and deliver care in our communities.
2. Oversee the creation of individualised, person-centred support packages to meet identified outcomes with service users, carers, and purchasing authorities.
3. Review and amend service packages in partnership with branch staff and central teams.
4. Evaluate service goals and quality objectives, and implement actions for improvement.
5. Audit records and files regularly to ensure standards are met.
6. Oversee the implementation and monitoring of Cera policies and procedures, taking action where necessary.
7. Ensure compliance with statutory and Cera requirements across all reportable areas.
8. Maintain operations within the standards set by the Regional Director and Quality & Compliance team, within budget.
9. Partner with Finance and Operations to monitor weekly expenditure and maintain budget.
10. Develop relationships with Business Development teams and Local Authorities to acquire new contracts.
11. Participate in Skills for Care Managers Network to develop industry profile.
12. Attend stakeholder meetings to stay informed of developments and opportunities.
What we're looking for:
* Experience in a regulated care environment is essential.
* RQF Diploma level 5 in Health and Social Care is desirable.
* Knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.
* Leadership skills, team management, and budget oversight experience.
* Experience working in domiciliary care and with complex needs.
* A passion for delivering high-quality care.
Benefits:
* Career development opportunities in a fast-growing company.
* Use of innovative technology to improve home care.
* Competitive salary with On-Call included.
* Training and development, Lifeworks discount, Employee Assistance Programme, Refer a Friend scheme, tech support, and pension scheme.
Cera promotes a carer-first approach, valuing diversity and inclusion. We encourage applications from all backgrounds, including cultural or gender diversity, women, and people with disabilities.
