Role Overview: To support the day-to-day running of the dental laboratory by assisting with administrative tasks, handling incoming and outgoing work, and acting as a point of contact between the laboratory and dental practices. Key Responsibilities: • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming postal and courier orders to the correct laboratory department. • Book laboratory jobs into the diary or system accurately, ensuring due dates and instructions are recorded. • Write patient and dentist details clearly on models to ensure correct identification. • Answer incoming telephone calls and deal with basic enquiries from dental practices. • Pass technical questions to technicians and contact dentists when clarification is required. • Check completed work against job details before dispatch. • Package and dispatch completed laboratory work safely and correctly. • Assist with monitoring stock levels and ordering laboratory and stationery supplies as required. • Maintain records and support the laboratory team with general administrative duties. • Scanning / Archiving of Plaster Models using a 3D Scanner Skills & Attributes: • Good organisational skills and attention to detail. • Clear and polite telephone manner. • Willingness to learn dental laboratory processes. • Ability to follow instructions and procedures. • Basic IT and record-keeping skills
