We are looking for an experienced Electrical or Mechanical Engineer to join our team, you will be responsible for carrying out on-site operation and maintenance support on a range of industrial utilities equipment which includes Gas Turbines, Package and Waste Heat Steam Boilers with associated plant, Compressed air systems, Gas Systems and Water Treatment plants.

What you'll be doing:
* Full compliance with health and safety, quality and Environment legislation requirements and site rules with the responsibility for own safety and others.
* Determination and documentation of the plant operating standards and use of computerised maintenance systems to monitor and analyse machine performance.
* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on Gas Turbines, Boilers and Utilities plant.
* Have a strong background of the operation and maintenance of Energy centres, ensuring full compliance with all Technical Instructions and management systems and policies.
* Routine Steam Boiler operational tasks to comply with legislation and company procedures.
* Conversant with boiler water treatment analysis and rectification procedures of non-compliant parameters.
* Assist with control and administration of Pressure Systems, ensuring the written scheme is followed.
* Ability to carry out fault diagnosis on Electrical LV control and power circuits.
* Maintenance and publication of plant quality records and reports.
* Implement Safe Systems of Work, to include Isolations, Permit to Work, Risk Assessments and Method Statements in accordance with company procedures. Regular monitoring, supervision and interaction of key sub-contractors.
* Work a flexible shift system to meet the demands of the business which will include working bank holidays, shift cover for sickness/ holidays and training as part of shift pattern.
What we're looking for:
* Engineering time served apprenticeship or ONC or equivalent in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering
* Computer literate including MS Office, Word, Excel and have a basic understanding of operating the plant using PLC based SCADA PMS systems.
* Highly motivated and capable of working unsupervised using your own initiative and as part of a team.
* Be able to demonstrate first line diagnosis of plant faults to maintain maximum efficiency and availability of plants.
* Strong communication skills - speaking, listening & coaching.
* Strong customer focus with effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Steam Boiler competence training (BOAS or equivalent) would be beneficial
* Gas Turbine Experience would be beneficial
* Gas Qualifications - COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CORT1, CDGA1, TPCP1 and TPCP1A would be beneficial
* IOSH and/ or Safety Passport would be beneficial
