The role
As the Communications Officer working on Pay Delivery in England, you’ll build communications that inform, mobilise and encourage our members to engage in the roll out of the Nursing Profiles and NHS job evaluation. You’ll be central to engaging members and activists with clear, timely updates on pay events and opportunities – helping turn national campaigns into targeted, local action that resonates across England’s regions.
You’ll write and schedule emails and SMS; craft social media copy; and update regional web pages with pay content and event information. You’ll build and maintain a rolling schedule of targeted workplace communications that encourages members to attend events and learn about our job evaluation work – keeping plans current as event details evolve.
The person
To succeed you’ll need strong written and verbal communication skills, able to tailor tone and style to varied audiences and make complex information easy to understand. You’ll be adept at working collaboratively, building strong relationships across departments and within a team, even in challenging circumstances. Exceptional attention to detail, excellent time management, and a real member focus are essential.
