Virtual Desktop Support Engineer
A leading bank is looking for a Virtual Desktop Support Engineer to join their team on a long‑term contract basis where they will support users with ongoing VDI migration issues within EMEA.
Location: Chester, UK
Job Type: Contract
Based in Chester office – 3 days per week.
Required Skillset
* Must have strong experience with virtual desktop technologies – Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop, or VMware Horizon.
* Must have exposure to end‑user migrations and experience working alongside migration teams to support users.
* Very strong communication skills.
* Comfortable with a day‑to‑day user‑facing role.
* Very delivery‑oriented and efficient at resolving migration problems.
* Customer‑facing with a great attitude.
* Used to troubleshooting a wide variety of issues.
* Used to knowledge sharing and building FAQs for the environment.
* Experience in large corporate environments (5,000+ users).
