Major Recruitment is partnering with an established and growing Insurance provider and they are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join their team to help develop and deliver outstanding insurance products. Reporting directly to Manager will be you'll be part of the Customer Services team, helping out with questions about new and existing policies in a helpful, friendly way. This is a client facing role and you will be focused on delivering an excellent client experience. Responsibilities: Handle policy renewals, making sure everything's done on time and meets the service standards. Send out the right documents quickly and accurately, keeping things running smoothly. Handle incoming calls from customers about new policies, changes to existing ones, and renewals-always sticking to the company's guidelines. Deal with customer requests quickly and politely, making sure they're sorted without any fuss. Stay sharp and up to date by following the firm's training and competence rules. Keep customer records tidy, accurate and secure, following data protection laws and company policies. Help out with admin tasks and make sure all paperwork is done properly and on time. Let underwriters know about any changes to policies and work out any premium adjustments. Pitch in to help hit team targets and KPIs, as set by senior management. Be ready to take on any other tasks that come your way. About you? Good at picking up on what the customer's saying and figuring out what they need. Can match the right products to what the customer's looking for. Adjusts the way they explain things depending on how much the customer already knows. What background and experience are the company looking for? Essential: At least 1 years customer service experience. Educated to GCSE standard including Maths and English. Has undertaken (or is willing to undertake) relevant customer service and insurance training. Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook and internet. Is happy to be in the office Monday to Friday (not hybrid). Desirable: Is degree qualified / a recent graduate or has insurance qualifications such as CII or is working towards them.
