Supply Chain Planner
Location: Daventry, UK – hybrid (3 days onsite per week). Hours: full-time, 37.5 hours per week with flexible office hours. Role type: 12‑month contract, with potential extension.
We are looking for a dynamic Supply Chain Planner to serve as the central hub for our Daventry Logistics Center, coordinating operations, managing supplier and customer returns, and resolving escalations.
Role Overview
The Planner supports the Global Planning and Logistics function and collaborates with cross‑functional teams to execute key site‑level activities in line with business unit and regional expectations. The role drives execution for escalations, supports planning activities that rely heavily on site teams, and maintains product flow.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage material planning interface with UK Logistics Center Operations.
* Oversee material planning for aftermarket kitting and production scheduling processes.
* Coordinate supplier returns with Supply Chain Services and the site.
* Engage with customers/sales to manage returns from the EMEA region.
* Create and modify Advanced Shipping Notification to ensure seamless receipt of product to the site.
* Engage inbound operations to resolve errors and keep cycle times low in the closed‑loop process.
* Provide internal escalation support to operational / transportation teams.
* Coordinate hazmat and receiving prioritization with operations.
* Support inventory optimisation activities across the site.
Qualifications
* B.S. or B.A. in an applicable field or equivalent experience.
* At least one internship or equivalent work experience in a supply‑chain role.
