Your new role :
We are looking for aQuantity Surveyor to join our team - Reporting to Senior Surveyors, ContractsManager and Directors, main duties listed :
Managemercial andcontractual matters from project outset topletion on a variety of projects- (Roads, Structures, Flood Prevention and Renewable Energy Projects)
Subcontract packageprocurement and management
Agreement of MainContract and Subcontract interim applications and final accounts
Measurement take-offsand variation/change control costing
Value engineering
Creation andsubmission of programmes
ContractAdministration
Cost forecasting andreporting
What you'll need to succeed :
Degree-qualified inQuantity Surveying or similar;
Ideally previousexperience in a similar role;
Ability to work aspart of team;
Ability to workautonomously and take responsibility;
Attention to detail;
Ability tomunicateeffectively;
Excellent numericaland problem-solving skills;
IT proficiency;
Ability to meetdeadlines;
Security cleared orthe ability to obtain the required level of clearance;
Knowledge of basiccommon law, contract law and standard form conditions of contract;
Experience withcontract documentation preparation;
Ability to managechange control effectively;
Experience withcontract administration, ensuring contractpliance;
Experience with costforecasting and reporting.
