Job Summary
We are seeking an Electro/Mechanical Assembler to support the production of medical devices. This role involves hands‑on assembly, in‑process testing, documentation, and support of reconditioned and new instruments. The ideal candidate will be experienced with both mechanical and electrical assembly, as well as inspection and testing tools. Compliance with QSR, ISO, and EH&S policies is a core requirement.
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble sub‑assemblies and full system‑level hardware per specifications
* Perform in‑process testing and inspection of assemblies
* Complete Device History Record (DHR) documentation
* Support the assembly and testing of reconditioned hardware
* Package final products in compliance with Instrument Manufacturing protocols
* Maintain adherence to QSR, ISO, and EH&S policies and practices
* Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools, crimpers, and soldering irons
* Perform mechanical inspections using tools like calipers and indicators
* Conduct basic electrical testing with multimeters
* Participate in internal audits and risk reduction initiatives
* Train team members as needed
* Perform other assigned duties within manufacturing operations
Required Experience
* Hands‑on experience with electromechanical assembly
* Familiarity with hand tools, test equipment, and manufacturing documentation
* Experience in a regulated environment (e.g., medical device manufacturing)
Nice‑to‑Have Experience
* Packaging and labeling in an FDA‑compliant setting
* Reconditioning and servicing instrumentation
Required Skills
