I’m currently working with a leading global provider of advanced engineered solutions for the aerospace and transportation industries. They're a huge multi-national market leading company within their field. They are also on a mission to use their work to help create greener energy. Their work also has a lot of applications within the military/defence sector.

Responsibilities:
* Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
* Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues
* Assisting in the setup of new user accounts and providing basic orientation to new users on the usage of computer systems and related software applications.
* Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of IT support tools, technologies, services, and procedures within the organization’s network environment.
* Responding promptly to customer inquiries regarding computer system problems or service requests through phone calls or service tickets.
Experience:
* Strong experience with .NET & C#, VB.NET and JavaScript
* Understanding of databases and data structures (SQL.)
* Experienced working on legacy software
* Experienced using business reporting tools, such as Crystal
* Any experience with User Support is beneficial
* Knowledge of ERP systems would be advantageous
Salary:
They are offering a salary of up to £40,000 for the right candidate.
Location:
The client has offices in both Rotherham and Glossop. They are looking for someone who can come into one of these offices 5x per week.
