GBR Recruitment is working exclusively with a Lincolnshire food business to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant (time-served or AAT qualified). The role involves a variety of accounting and finance duties over a part-time 25-hour week, ideally 5 hours per day, with flexible start and finish times (school hours available, etc.).

Essential Skills:
* Proficiency in Xero accounting software is mandatory
* Knowledge or experience of e-commerce businesses is ideal
Responsibilities include:
* Processing sales and purchase orders, invoices, payments, and receipts using Xero
* Checking supplier statements and investigating variances
* Debt recovery
* Managing stock reports and inventory
* Preparing VAT returns
* Bank reconciliations
* Using bespoke software
* Preparing reports and financial summaries as needed
Experience & Skills:
* Strong knowledge of accounting and financial administration
* Experience with Xero is essential
* E-commerce experience is advantageous
* Excellent communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Proactive, solution-focused, with excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
* Strong organizational skills
