Salary: Up to £55,000 + Bonus & Attractive Benefits
Work arrangement: 3 Days in London / 2 Days Remote
The Company
Our client is a highly reputable, well-established, and leading International Lloyd's Broker with a strong presence in the London Market Insurance sector. Based in their Head Office in the heart of the City of London, near Lloyd's of London, they are expanding due to excellent performance and growth, seeking a motivated IBA Technician to support their Finance and Technical Processing team.
Role Duties
* Bank reconciliation and cash matching
* Preparing and processing premiums, commissions, and claims payments
* Knowledge of banking systems for premium, commission, and claims payments
* Accurate record keeping using internal electronic data management systems
* Monitoring credit risk, funding, unallocated cash, un-forwarded balances, and unrealized Brokerage
* Producing intracompany reports and schedules
* Resolving queries related to unexpected or unidentified funds
* Addressing queries from clients and underwriters
* Liaising with international offices and providing IBA support
* Building and maintaining constructive relationships with internal clients
About You
* Experience as an IBA Technician
* Insurance experience, preferably in the London Market, with Lloyd's Broker experience advantageous
* Knowledge of client money rules and legal principles in insurance
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Good communication skills, problem understanding, and solution proposing abilities
* Time management, prioritization, and meeting deadlines without compromising quality
