Overview
To assist registered nurses and practitioners in delivering care to patients and clients, working in partnership with other health care professionals, patients, their families and carers. Deliver patient care as documented in the nursing care plan and carry out a wide range of duties under the direction of a registered nurse during the shift.
Main duties of the job
The role will involve supporting the district nursing team to care for community residents who require nursing care. You must be able to travel between patients' homes, within towns and rural areas, in a timely manner. Welsh speaking is desirable. Successful candidates should be enthusiastic, able to work well within a team or independently.
