Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Redditch
Salary: £43,000 – £48,000 DOE. Two shifts available:
* Double days – 05:30am – 2pm one week, 1:30pm – 10pm the following week (rotating)
* Sunday – Wednesday (12‑hour shifts Sun–Tue; half‑day Wednesday)
The Opportunity
My client is looking for a mechanical plant engineer – a mechanical maintenance engineer/plant fitter with experience in pumps, boilers, steam cookers, and heavy associated machinery. The role is 60% plant room and 40% on machinery. My client is very open to diverse backgrounds.

Experience required for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
* Have at least three years’ experience repairing and maintaining heavy plant machinery
* Mechanically sound – change bearings, straps, belts, pumps, motors, etc.
* Any mechanical maintenance engineer from a manufacturing background is welcome to apply: FMCG, food, metals, recycling, automation, foundry, brick, aerospace
