About the role
We are seeking a Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer for our Bournemouth or Reading offices.
Bournemouth has a long-standing presence with significant expertise and local relationships. Reading is experiencing growth, with major projects like Station Hill, fostering connections with local businesses.
We welcome candidates with experience in commercial, residential, and mission-critical projects. We are committed to sustainability and creating high-performance buildings that address climate change and meet modern needs.
As a Principal or Associate Engineer, you will support and deliver electrical designs across various projects, working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality service, client satisfaction, and business growth.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing the technical delivery of electrical design services for multiple projects.
* Developing strategic concepts ensuring compliance with standards.
* Engaging with stakeholders and attending meetings to communicate project briefs.
* Monitoring project budgets, resources, and progress.
* Mentoring junior staff and supporting professional development.
About you
Successful candidates will have:
* Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer with a track record in complex projects.
* Experience with technical delivery processes and software like BIM, Revit, Dialux, Relux.
* Experience working with clients, contractors, and architects.
* Self-awareness, openness, and a collaborative spirit.
* Ability to support and develop team members.
