Teaching Assistant
Teaching Personnel are recruiting Teaching Assistants to support learning across our partner secondary schools in Sale and Altrincham. This role is ideal for anyone looking to gain experience in education, support students aged 11–16, and work flexibly within their local Trafford community.
We are currently seeking Teaching Assistants to start ASAP and continue through to July, with opportunities for long term or permanent roles. This role is perfect for recent graduates with previous experience working with young people or in education.
Location: Sale / Altrincham / Timperley / Broadheath
Hours: Full-time – 5 days a week
Pay: £89 – £100 per day (dependent on experience)
Responsibilities
Supporting students in lessons across core subjects
Providing 1:1 or small‑group support
Helping with behaviour, engagement, and classroom routines
Assisting teachers to create a positive learning environment
Supporting students with SEN or additional learning needs

Teaching Personnel’s Manchester Secondary branch works with the majority of Trafford secondary schools, giving you access to regular, local opportunities in the Sale/Altrincham area.

Supporting young people: experience of youth work, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, Childcare, nursery work, residential support
Recent graduates
Good public transport links to Sale and Altrincham via Metrolink and local buses make this role accessible for candidates travelling across Trafford.
