About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for knowledgeable and engaging English Lecturers to join leading colleges across Bedfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to find a role that suits you perfectly, enabling you to make an immediate impact on the students you'll teach.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons across a range of English courses (including GCSE, Functional Skills and A Level).
* Support and motivate students to achieve their potential.
* Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best results.
Requirements:
* A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent).
* A degree in English or a closely related subject.
* Experience teaching English, ideally within a further education or college setting.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply).
