You will play a vital role in every aspect of ICA engineering on iconic projects at home and abroad. We currently have opportunities in our Cardiff office.
Role & Responsibilities
* Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, delivering high‑quality work.
* Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
* Manage time and budgets to meet key project milestones and programmes.
* Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
* Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
About You
* Chartered Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer.
* Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
* Sound knowledge of ICA design (instrumentation, PLC and SCADA systems), Motor Control Centers/Switchgear, system architecture, fieldbus/communication networks, P&ID's, ATEX installation practice, functional safety, development of control specifications (URS/FDS), schedules and system requirements within process/industrial environments.
* Proficiency in designing within appropriate digital analysis packages, following applicable standards, working practices and national guidance.
