Duties & Responsibilities
Direct responsibilities:
Content and copywriting
* In collaboration with colleagues, create regular thought-leadership content to help drive lead generation as part of campaigns and standalone content, including written, video, infographics and more (with assistance from external partners / colleagues)
* Manage a content calendar
* The ability to make the complex simple. Being able to understand and digest information provided by colleagues and transform it into compelling content centred around customer challenges.
Case Studies, Press Releases & Video production
* Produce and deliver case studies and press releases in collaboration with colleagues and external partners
* Manage our case study and press release production to ensure new assets are released on a regular basis.
* Liaise with external partners to deliver video content
Campaign Management
* In collaboration with external partners and the wider marketing and sales teams, create, manage, deliver and report on lead generation campaigns to new-logo prospects and existing customers.
* Liaise with and manage external marketing agencies
* Liaise with sales teams throughout the business to execute campaigns
* Produce campaign copy and manage the production of campaign assets
* Deliver campaign messaging through various marketing channels (e.g. email, social, website, post)
* Monitor and report on results
* Demonstrate an agile attitude to campaign monitoring, suggesting changes where required to deliver results.
Event Management and Support
* Coordinate and execute external/public-facing events (virtual & in-person) for brand awareness, lead generation, and business development. Attend and support events where applicable.
Sales & vertical alignment
* Work closely with an aligned sales team to create a strong sales-marketing relationship
* Lead on marketing initiatives for your aligned sales team and verticals
* Manage marketing activities and lead nurturing for your aligned vertical markets and sales team
Social Media
* Create and manage social media content for distribution
* Monitor and report on engagement
* Research and deliver new ways to increase our reach and engagement
* Support colleagues throughout the business with social media training and best practice
* Work with colleagues to develop and deliver our paid social efforts
Website
* Create and manage website content in collaboration with stakeholders
* Create and edit content through our wordpress CMS
* Periodically review content to keep up-to-date
* Publish news and thought-leadership content
Email Marketing
* Create emails for distribution through our email marketing platform
* Analyse metrics of individual email campaigns. Drive any changes based on the data to improve results.
* Manage and monitor our prospect database and data growth activities
Project Coordination
* Organise, prioritise, and manage Marketing projects.
* Develop deadlines, project plans, and activities, and ensure all are met by consistent and effective follow-up.
* Utilise project management tools to create and track tasks, owners, and due dates associated with the project, recognising that each member of the team will have a part to play in the project overall.
Vendor and partner management
* Liaise with and manage strategic relationships with our marketing vendors and partners, coordinating joint-marketing activity, reporting on results and bidding for funding.
Indirect responsibilities:
External Campaign and Agency Management
* Liaise with and manage external marketing agencies to facilitate external lead generation campaigns that deliver opportunities to the sales team.
* Bid for funding from vendors and report on results
* Liaise with internal administration, sales and marketing personnel to manage campaigns
* Demonstrate an agile attitude to campaign monitoring, suggesting changes where required to deliver results.
* In collaboration with sales colleagues, manage and optimise the lead management process to drive campaign success.
* Work within our CRM to deliver reporting, dashboards and process changes
General Support
* Support marketing functions on all Proact initiatives. Proactively meet team needs, strive for excellence, and meet goals.
* Strong ability to work multiple initiatives at once, prioritise and validate ideas, and meet critical deadlines.
* Collaborate with and help teammates while maintaining a positive and professional attitude, fostering teamwork.
* Responsible for pulling and analysing monthly reports, utilising whatever tools necessary to build and develop insights based on the data and to further refine marketing strategy.
Competitive Research
* Conduct competitive research and collect information on who we identify as major competitors and monitor them for pricing, service line/product offerings, marketing messages and funding.
* Create and send monthly competitive reports to the management and sales team.

Qualifications:
* GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent qualification
* Degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent
Experience:
* At least 1-2 years’ experience in a generalist marketing role.
* Experience in delivering lead-generation activities
Skills:
* Excellent verbal and written communication
* Well organised and self-disciplined with great attention to detail
* Must be able to liaise with multiple stakeholders and be able to push back where needed
* You are able to work and effectively communicate with all levels of staff within the organisation to develop strong working relationships.
* You prioritise your workload effectively in order to meet deadlines
* You’re enthusiastic about Proact and happy to go the extra mile for your colleagues
* You’ve got a positive and proactive approach
* You’re driven, motivated and take ownership of your role
* Willing to travel to other Proact sites, when required.
