Reinsurance Pricing Actuary - London based - Competitive Salary
I am currently seeking an experienced reinsurance pricing actuary to take responsibility for a high-profile division within its pricing function for a leading Lloyds Syndicate. This is a senior position with both technical and strategic influence, working closely with underwriting and portfolio management teams across the business.
You’ll focus on key lines of business such as property treaty, renewable energy, and cyber.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead divisional pricing activity and provide actuarial insight to support underwriting strategy
* Present and defend pricing views with confidence to senior stakeholders
* Partner with underwriters on renewals and negotiations
Experience
* Strong track record in reinsurance pricing within a Lloyd’s or specialty insurance environment
* Ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and calmly with stakeholders at all levels
* Resilient under pressure and able to stand by well-reasoned opinions
* Collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills
* Nice to have: business planning experience
