Interim Business Intelligence Lead

We are working with a Local Authority to recruit an interim Business Intelligence Lead to develop an improved business intelligence function for the Council, supporting regular and high-quality strategic reporting.
Key Responsibilities of the Interim Business Intelligence Lead include:
* Lead the development of the Council’s Performance Management Framework and analysis of performance data to support change and drive service excellence
* Build strong partnerships with internal performance leads and external partner agencies
* Lead a modern Business Intelligence function, providing expert strategic advice to senior leadership
* Drive performance improvement and develop cross-council business intelligence
1. Experience and knowledge required of the Interim Business Intelligence Lead:
* Extensive experience in Performance and Business Intelligence in large, complex organisations
* Proven track record in developing and implementing successful BI strategies
* Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex data
* Previous local government experience
