About the Role
We are looking for an experienced social worker to join our team. Bath & North East Somerset Children’s Social Care is an innovative small Local Authority focused on therapeutic assessment and support. The role offers an extensive training programme, paid Social Work England membership renewals, laptops and flexible working support.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage own caseload of children and families with complex needs.
* Analyse information and formulate outcome‑focused plans for children and their families.
* Write professional assessments/reports and present evidence verbally.
* Prioritise and manage work effectively and in a timely way.
* Guarantee regular supervision with dedicated time for reflective practice in group supervision and peer support.
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants must have significant post‑qualifying experience and strong organisational skills. Experience in relationship‑based practice, systemic practice approaches, trauma‑informed practice and attachment‑focused social work is desirable.
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
