Job Title: HSE Advisor (Contract – Day Rate)
Location: Aberdeen (Office-Based with Potential Offshore Visits)

Duration: 6 month renewable
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and proactive HSE Advisor to join our team on a contract basis. This role is primarily office-based in Aberdeen, with occasional offshore visits. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining compliance with HSE regulations, supporting operational teams, and fostering a strong safety culture across all activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide HSE advice and support to office and offshore teams.
* Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and audits.
* Ensure compliance with UK HSE legislation and company standards.
* Develop, review, and implement HSE policies and procedures.
* Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely reporting of incidents.
* Deliver HSE inductions and training sessions as required.
* Support offshore operations through site visits and compliance monitoring.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote proactive safety behaviours.
Requirements
* Previous experience in an HSE role within the oil & gas industry.
* NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent HSE qualification.
* Strong knowledge of UK offshore safety regulations.
* Excellent communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
* Offshore certification (BOSIET, MIST, Medical) preferred, or willingness to obtain.
Contract Details
* Day Rate: Competitive (based on experience)
* Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
* Location: Aberdeen office with potential offshore travel
