Cleaner - South West Norse
Location: Ivybridge Community College, PL21 0JA
Hours: 15 per week
Salary: £25,396.80 pro rata, equates to £12.21 per hour
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 3:30pm - 6:30pm
South West Norse is a commercial service partnership between Norse Group and Devon County Council, delivering expertise across cleaning, catering and facilities management disciplines.
We currently have a great opportunity for a Cleaner to join our established team at Ivybridge Community College on a permanent, part-time basis working Term-Time only.
The Role
Working both independently and within a close team, you will be responsible for carrying out day to day routine and ad-hoc cleaning services as defined by the Cleaning Supervisor, ensuring that the necessary standards are met and operating in line with Client and Norse Policies and Procedures. While maintaining hygiene levels is important across all communal areas, this consumer facing role will require you to deliver a high standard of customer service to clients across the facility.

If you have previously worked within a commercial cleaning environment that would be an advantage; however, Norse offers full training and support for enthusiastic individuals if you can demonstrate the following:
* Ability to work to defined standards in a quality-driven environment
* Good communication skills, capable of building relationships with colleagues, clients and members of the public
* Comfortable working independently on your own initiative as well as being part of a team
* Good attention to detail, able to deliver a high level of customer service
