Responsibilities
* Process payroll and pensions for staff and external customers.
* Maintain accurate employee records and ensure all payments and deductions are correct.
* Provide advice on payroll legislation, pension regulations and HR policies.
* Support month‑end and year‑end reporting for LGPS and Teachers’ Pensions.
* Reconcile payroll data and assist with continuous system improvements (iTrent ESS/MSS).
Qualifications
* CIPP Payroll Technician Certificate or equivalent.
* Experience working in payroll and pension administration.
* Knowledge of LGPS, Teachers’ Pensions, and payroll legislation.
* Strong Excel skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
