People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our client's well-established transport team in Motherwell.

Shifts: 24-hour operation – Days and Nights available
Pay Rate: £16.00 – £19.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
* Operate and drive Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and efficiently
* Conduct daily vehicle checks and complete all required documentation
* Load and deliver goods between designated locations
* Handle double-decker trailers where required
* Ensure all loads are safely secured
* Communicate effectively with transport teams and customers
* Adhere to road safety, traffic laws, and company regulations
Essential Skills
* Valid UK Category C+E Licence
* Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
* No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD, CD codes)
* Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling
* Strong understanding of road safety and compliance
Desirable Experience
* Previous experience in retail or distribution deliveries
Training
* Full onboarding support provided
* Paid two-day site induction
* Ongoing driver support and development throughout your assignment
