Job Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic Band 5 Nurses to join our friendly Ward team at Harty Ward, Sheppey Community Hospital, Kent. This part‑time (30 hours per week) role supports newly qualified nurses through our award‑winning Preceptorship scheme. You will provide patient focused care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and help us continue improving our services.
Main Responsibilities
Within this role you will:
* Maintain a high standard of patient focused care.
* Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
* Provide assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care for patients, ensuring accurate written records are kept.
* Communicate with patients and carers to ensure they have access to appropriate information.
* Promote and maintain positive relationships between all staff involved in the care of the patient.
* Act in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Ideal Candidate
You will be a registered Nurse with a licence to practice, passionate about rehabilitating patients, and confident using IT systems including Microsoft Office. You must be willing to cover all shift patterns, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with licence to practise.
