Collingwood College is seeking a highly organised and proactive MIS, Data and Exams Manager to lead the administration and management of our Management Information System (Arbor), data analysis processes, and examinations provision.
This is a pivotal role within the College, reporting directly to the Principal and working closely with senior leaders, teaching and support staff, and external agencies. You will manage a small team and ensure the smooth running of all aspects of exams and data, contributing to the College’s commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a candidate with strong experience in data management, MIS systems (preferably Arbor), and exams administration within an educational setting. You should be confident leading a team, managing complex processes, and communicating effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Exams Management
Lead the end-to-end administration of internal and external examinations. Liaise with awarding bodies, departments, and support teams to ensure accurate entries, timetables, and secure handling of exam materials. Coordinate special arrangements, invigilation, and post-results services. Communicate exam procedures clearly to staff, students, and parents.
* MIS & Data Oversight
Ensure effective use of Arbor across the College, providing training and support. Analyse and distribute data to inform decision-making and performance tracking. Manage statutory returns and data reporting to external agencies. Support timetable creation and student options processes.
* Team Leadership
Line manage the Exams and Data Administrator, Admissions Administrator, and Exam Invigilators. Conduct regular team meetings and annual appraisals. Maintain professional development aligned with College priorities.
