Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

£35,000 – £40,000 per annum DOE

Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am – 12:00pm (39 hours/week)

Job Description:
* Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
* Troubleshoot faults and repair electrical and mechanical systems.
* Work with motors, conveyors, pneumatic tools, hydraulic systems, and production machinery.
* Check, calibrate, and repair instruments.
* Handle electrical tasks including lighting, wiring, testing, and alarm systems.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure safety compliance.
* Assist with scheduled maintenance and maintain accurate records.
* Fabricate parts and manage stock of spare components.
* Liaise with the production team to minimize downtime.
Requirements:
* Relevant electrical qualifications (City & Guilds, 18th Edition or NVQ Level 3+).
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
* Dual-skilled (mechanical/electrical) preferred.
* Ability to read and interpret diagrams, manuals, and technical drawings.
* Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
* Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience in foundry or heavy engineering is desirable but not essential.
