Job Description
The key duties for the Accounts Assistant include:
* Providing support to the finance team
* Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
* Processing invoices, payments, and receipts efficiently—supporting purchase ledger clerks and credit controllers
* Assisting with budget preparation
* Supporting bank statement reconciliations
* Assisting with year-end accounts and audits
* Providing administrative support as required
The Successful Applicant
The ideal Accounts Assistant should have:
* A strong interest in accounting and finance
* Proficiency in MS Office and relevant accounting software
* Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
* The ability to work as part of a team
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Studying towards a finance qualification—not essential
