The Primary Care Clinical Lead will have managerial responsibilities alongside some clinical decision-making. You will manage and lead a diverse team of 11 healthcare professionals, including nurses, assistant practitioners, and healthcare assistants. You will oversee clinical indicators such as QOF, NEWS2, MUST, PEAR, etc., and provide strong leadership within a primary care setting, particularly within a prison environment.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week (possibility of condensing over 4 days)
Salary: This full-time position offers an annual salary between £49,848 and £55,996 depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
* Provide clinical leadership and management to the healthcare team
* Deputise for the Deputy/Head of Healthcare as required
* Work with partners to maintain high-quality clinical services
* Model a culture of compassion, care, courage, and competence
* Coach, line manage, and develop staff; support audits and governance; develop protocols
* Chair healthcare meetings, provide supervision, and lead investigations

Qualifications and Experience
* Registered Nurse (Adult) with current NMC registration
* Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
* Understanding of multidisciplinary and multi-agency working
* Non-judgmental, compassionate approach
* Excellent communication skills
* Line management and mentorship experience
Experience in hospital, community, or prison settings is desirable but not essential.
