The details:
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30
Place of work: On-site at our Head Office in Ely
The role:
The role will be supporting the Product Development team in both daily duties and projects, with key duties to include:
* Supporting the management of NPD briefs using Projectplace, ensuring all project details are kept up to date
* Assisting in the preparation of NPD samples and helping to create flavoured finished products where required
* Ordering samples for NPD projects and ensuring they are stored correctly in the NPD kitchen
* Ensuring the NPD kitchen is kept clean and tidy in accordance with the operations manual
* Coordinating the preparation and dispatch of product samples developed by the NPD team for customer evaluation
* Maintaining and updating the workflow for the 'NPD Samples Request' process, tracking deadlines and progress of tasks
* Logging of developed samples in NPD retained storage, and updating the retained inventory tracker
* Ensuring any updates to product formulations and samples are logged accurately in ProjectPlace workbooks, under guidance from the NPD team
* Supporting the team at virtual and in-person trade shows, helping with setup and engaging with attendees as required
The requirements:
Nutritional knowledge and/or a nutritional qualification along with knowledge of food safety guidelines is desirable, however training and guidance will be provided.
To be successful, you must have the following skills and attributes:
* Passion for nutrition, ingredients, health and wellbeing
* Excellent organisation and time management skills
* Outstanding attention to detail
* Excellent communicator both written and verbal
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages with strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
