Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and highly organised Front Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing front desk staff, and maintaining smooth communication between departments. This role requires a personable individual with excellent organisational skills and a strong understanding of hospitality standards. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to our diverse clientele.

Duties

* Supervise and coordinate front desk operations, ensuring efficient check-in and check-out processes
* Provide outstanding guest services, addressing enquiries and resolving issues promptly and courteously
* Manage reservations, cancellations, and room allocations with accuracy and attention to detail
* Oversee the training and development of front desk staff, fostering a professional and welcoming environment
* Maintain high standards of phone etiquette when handling calls, enquiries, and bookings
* Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
* Monitor daily financial transactions, including billing and payments, ensuring accuracy
* Implement procedures to enhance operational efficiency and guest experience
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the front office area

Requirements

* Proven experience in hotel or hospitality management in a similar role is preferred
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication skills; proficiency in multiple languages or bilingualism is advantageous
* Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional guest services with professionalism and courtesy
* Knowledge of hotel management software systems is desirable
* Familiarity with phone etiquette standards and customer service best practices
* Experience working within a hospitality setting, understanding of industry standards and protocols
* Ability to lead a team, motivate staff, and maintain high levels of service quality at all times
