Senior Insolvency Administrator (Corporate) ManchesterSalary: £32,000 £42,000 + bonus (DOE)Location: Manchester (hybrid working available)Type: Permanent, full-time
An established insolvency team in Manchester is looking for a Senior Insolvency Administrator to join their corporate casework function. Youll be trusted to run your own files day-to-day, keep matters moving, and act as a go-to support for junior colleagues and the wider team.
This role suits someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in doing things properly, and wants a clear route towards Assistant Manager level.
What youll be doing
* Running a portfolio of corporate appointments including CVLs, MVLs and Administrations
* Keeping cases on track: diaries, statutory deadlines, deliverables and stakeholder updates
* Producing core case documents: correspondence, notices, statutory forms and progress reporting
* Handling realisation and investigation workstreams (asset agents, valuations, bank queries, antecedent reviews, etc.)
* Liaising with directors, creditors, solicitors and other third parties professionally and confidently
* Supporting managers with technical tasks and problem cases when needed
* Helping junior staff with queries and sense-checking work (depending on experience)
What were looking for
* Solid experience in corporate insolvency (ideally 3+ years, but flexible for the right person)
* Comfortable taking ownership of files and working with minimal supervision
* Strong organisational skills youre good at prioritising and keeping momentum
* Confident communicator with stakeholders at all levels
* Experience using insolvency case management systems (desirable)
* CPI is helpful but not essential (study support may be available)
