We’re seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive new business growth and strengthen customer relationships within a designated UK territory. As part of Sulzer’s Services team you’ll leverage our UK footprint and capabilities to identify opportunities deliver bespoke solutions and shape long‑term partnerships.
Your main tasks and responsibilities :
* Develop and execute a sales plan identifying priority targets leads and opportunities across electro‑mechanical pump and turbo service lines.
* Research and understand customer profiles and market trends to tailor compelling pitches.
* Build strong productive relationships with both new and existing customers.
* Collaborate closely with Service Centres and engineering teams to ensure technical solutions are delivered seamlessly.
* Drive cross‑selling and upselling opportunities presenting Sulzer’s complete service offering.
* Own and exceed allocated sales targets contributing to the growth of Sulzer’s UK business.
To succeed in this role you will need :
* Proven success in sales within a fast‑paced service environment.
* Strong track record of generating new business and developing customer relationships.
* Commercial acumen with the ability to sell value propositions.
* Familiarity with engineering products or aftermarket services.
* Excellent communication presentation and organisational skills.
* Resilient proactive and results‑focused with a collaborative mindset.
* Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and basic P&L understanding.
