We are looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to support students with SEN at a secondary school in Watford. Your role will empower students to achieve their best by providing personalized support in one-on-one and small group settings.
Role Overview
* Support students with a variety of special educational needs, including learning challenges, to aid in academic and personal development.
* Provide tailored one-on-one assistance and small group interventions for KS3 and KS4 students.
* Work with teachers to deliver lessons that meet diverse student needs in the classroom.
* Adjust learning resources and instructional techniques to suit individual requirements, fostering confidence and independence.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK secondary school.
* Experience working with students with SEN and learning difficulties.
* Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to apply for one).
* Confidence in a classroom setting across KS3 and KS4.
* Strong communication skills, patience, and an encouraging outlook.
