Up to £120k + £20k Bonus, 15% Pension, 30 Days Holiday, Full Family Health Care +
Own and mature the HR Technology capability for the CHRO portfolio. Set a clear CHRO Technology strategy and execute a Workday-first roadmap that consolidates duplicative tools, tighten integrations, and delivers measurable outcomes, lead the operating model, portfolio governance, and vendor/commercials while partnering with HR, Finance, IT, etc.
Familiarity with Workday configuration, reporting, and integration tools (e.g., Workday Studio, EIB, Cloud Connect, WorkDay Rising).
This role will suit a strategic orchestrator who can
* Paint a compelling picture of "what good looks like" and sell it to senior stakeholders.
* Operate comfortably above product config – you must understand Workday's capability, but your value is in blueprint, sequencing and business change.
* Influence and guide the business (push-back, ambiguity and the need to negotiate.)
* Bring curiosity on AI and data ethics, with practical ideas on how work and employee experience will evolve.
* Demonstrate track record of turning around or maturing HR/Finance tech portfolios in complex, global, regulated environments.
* Aligning Workday Processes to harmonise as closely as possible into one global way of working and advising on improvements
ROLE PROFILE
* Orchestrate a global Workday product roadmap with complex stakeholder management
* Audit current HR tech stack, data lineage, support model and team capabilities.
* Build the transformation roadmap (Co-create with HR)
* Secure executive sign-off and funding.
* Develop the operating model
* Contract & licence re-negotiation to shave opex
* Championing AI and automation into HR business strategy
* Establish "single source of truth" for people data; deliver self-service dashboards
* Motivate, upskill and re-shape a 25-person blended team; embed product-thinking, agile delivery and AI experimentation.
