Job Description
SLR has a busy, well-established hydrology and hydrogeology team comprising over 45 specialists distributed across its UK office network. SLR’s Earth Science teams have extensive experience working in the energy, waste, mining, and commercial and residential development sectors. Due to ongoing success and a busy forward order book, we are looking to expand the team with the appointment of a hydrology graduate, working from one of our English offices (London, Nottingham, Manchester, Bristol, Bradford-on-Avon).
This position offers an excellent opportunity to join a large team of specialists and be part of a wider group including hydrology, geochemistry, and hydrogeology consultants.

Key Responsibilities
Working with Technical Directors on hydrology and flood risk, the role involves preparing, organizing, and undertaking tasks such as water quality monitoring, site walkover surveys, supervising investigations, flood risk assessments, data interpretation, and preparing reports.
This role may involve projects across the UK and internationally, including periods working away from home.
Candidate Requirements
* Has a relevant educational background (BEng/BSc, MEng/MSc) or equivalent;
* Effective communication skills;
* Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities;
* Ability to work independently and in a team;
* Strong relationship-building skills;
* Good time management and a proactive attitude;
* Holds a full, current UK driving license.
