Job Description
Manage a small team in the development and delivery of production planning schedules to meet operational goalsCoordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of resources.Monitor production work flows and identify potential bottlenecks.Collaborate with internal departments and suppliers to align production plans with project requirements.Attend daily S&OP meetingsGenerate reports and analyse data to support decision-making processes.Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all planning activities.Proactively address issues that may impact production time lines.Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement and supply chain function.The Successful Applicant
A successful Production Planner should have:
Experience as a team leader/manager in a production planning environmentProficiency in using planning and scheduling software tools.Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.Understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.What's on Offer
