Main duties of the job
As a Chef de Partie at Avery Healthcare, your focus will be to support the Head Chef and Sous Chef to lead a culinary team that provides a nutritionally balanced, comprehensive and high-quality culinary service, which contributes to the overall wellbeing of the residents. You will be responsible for preparing nutritional food and beverages to a high standard, supporting cost-effective stock control systems, and working with the management team to develop and review the menu.

Job responsibilities
* Support the culinary team to provide high-quality, nutritionally balanced meals.
* Participate in meetings to discuss catering functions and dietary needs.
* Prepare nutritional food and beverages as directed.
* Assist in stock control to minimize waste.
* Contribute to menu development and review.
About you
To succeed, you should embody values of caring, support, honesty, respect, and accountability. The ideal candidate will:
* Hold a catering qualification such as City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ or equivalent.
* Hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
* Have at least 1 year of catering experience.
* Show compassion and dedication to quality culinary service.
* Be flexible and adaptable to responsibilities at short notice.

This role requires a DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare) and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
