Support Worker Positions at Bow Court and Swindon Foyer
We are seeking enthusiastic and dynamic Support Workers to deliver person-centred, strengths-based support to our residents at Bow Court and Swindon Foyer.
Positions Available:
* 1x Permanent, Part-Time (30 hours per week) at Bow Court
* 1x Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week) at Swindon Foyer
Bow Court is an established housing project for people with learning disabilities who wish to live independently with support. Located in Swindon's Old Town, it is close to amenities and the town centre.
In this role, you will manage a caseload, support residents in achieving independence, handle referrals, conduct assessments, and deliver quality support sessions both individually and in groups.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Proven experience working with vulnerable people, with knowledge of homelessness and its impact.
* Knowledge of housing and benefits advice.
* Experience partnering with agencies such as mental health teams and youth offending services.
* Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to motivate and influence others.
* Excellent interpersonal skills adaptable to different audiences.
* Understanding of professional boundaries and high personal integrity.
