Overview
Join to apply for the Customer Service Advisor role at South Bay Center for Counseling/Community Development. This is a remote-based position with occasional on-site requirements near Shaftesbury. 3-month temporary contract (potential for extension or permanent role). Salary: £13.19 per hour / £24,000 pro-rata. Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1 hour lunch). Immediate start available. Applicants must be local to the Shaftesbury area.
We are currently recruiting Customer Service Advisors to join our client’s friendly and professional team. This is a fully remote position, but applicants must be based near Shaftesbury due to occasional on-site requirements or training needs.
What Were Looking For
* MUST HAVE 2+ years experience in a fast-paced call centre environment
* 3+ years of customer service experience
* Proficient in data entry and using customer databases
* Comfortable working within a confidential and sensitive environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy
* Calm, composed, and professional under pressure
* Polite, empathetic, and solution-focused
* Proactive and self-motivated
* Experience with Salesforce (desirable but not essential)
Key Responsibilities
* Booking appointments and managing schedules
* Accurate data entry and updating customer records
* Responding to inbound calls and emails
* Handling complaints and resolving customer issues
* Escalating any concerns to the appropriate supervisor or team
