This is an excellent opportunity for an autonomous nurse with spirometry experience who is looking for flexible work within a friendly GP Surgery. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality respiratory assessment and monitoring services to patients, supporting the diagnosis and management of respiratory conditions such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Clinical Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive spirometry testing in accordance with ARTP (Association for Respiratory Technology & Physiology) and BTS (British Thoracic Society) guidelines. Prepare patients for testing by explaining the procedure clearly, ensuring informed consent, and identifying any contraindications. Calibrate and maintain spirometry equipment daily to ensure accurate and reliable results.
