The Role
We are seeking a proactive and data-oriented Commissioning Support Officer to join our All Age Commissioning Team, working within Living Well (working aged adults commissioning). This role will entail supporting commissioning activity for adult social care across Herefordshire and is central to ensuring that services are high quality, person-centred, and deliver best value for our residents. You will work closely with the Commissioning Manager and Commissioning Officers to support the commissioning cycle, contract and performance management, and support partnership working with a wide range of stakeholders across a portfolio commissioning services for working age adult with Care Act eligible needs.
Key Responsibilities
 * Support the delivery of commissioning tasks across services for working age adults.
 * Assist with contract management, performance monitoring, and quality assurance.
 * Take minutes and action notes for meetings and ensure timely follow-up.
 * Conduct due diligence on contracts
 * Support commissioning and procurement processes.
 * Work collaboratively with internal teams and external providers to improve service outcomes.
 * Support with administration tasks in relation to the commissioning of accommodation solutions for adults with Care Act eligible needs.
About you
You’ll be passionate about improving the lives of working age adults with Care Act eligible needs and committed to delivering high-quality services. You’ll bring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, good interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
