Join Our Rough Sleeper Outreach Team – Make a Real Difference We have an exciting opportunity to join Solihull Council’s Rough Sleeper Outreach Team as a Rough Sleeper Outreach/In-Reach Worker. In this role, you’ll work directly with individuals who are rough sleeping or at risk of homelessness, providing compassionate, practical support to help them access accommodation and essential services. You’ll play a vital part in building pathways that prevent people from becoming entrenched in street culture and ensure that any accommodation secured is sustained through proactive, ongoing support. This is a rewarding position for someone who believes in their ability to make a positive impact and enrich the lives of vulnerable adults. You’ll be joining a motivated and successful team committed to ending rough sleeping in Solihull. What You’ll Do Deliver assertive outreach to rough sleepers and those at risk of homelessness. Support individuals to access accommodation and wraparound services. Build local pathways and processes to prevent homelessness and sustain tenancies. Work flexibly across outreach and in-reach settings to provide ongoing support. What We’re Looking For GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent. Working in homelessness or housing-related services. Supporting vulnerable or homeless individuals, including case coordination, assessment, and outreach. Strong partnership working with statutory and voluntary agencies. Ability to work flexibly, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends when required.
