Interaction Recruitment are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Shunter drivers.
Shunter Driver –Class 1
Corby | Full-time, shift-based
A well-established manufacturing business in Corby is seeking an experienced Shunter Driver to support movements of raw materials and finished goods across multiple local sites.
Key Responsibilities
1. Shunting trailers on/off bays and between nearby sites
2. Operating a Terberg and Class 1 HGV
3. Yard organisation, vehicle checks, and defect reporting
4. Ensuring loads are secured and DVSA compliant
5. Occasional warehouse/operational support when required
Requirements
6. Class 1 HGV licence (minimum 2 years’ experience)
7. Terberg experience
8. Valid CPC & Digi card
9. Safety-first, reliable, and a strong team player
10. Right to work in the UK
Shifts
3-week rotating pattern (days, afternoons, nights) – average 45 hours/week
Pay & Benefits
11. £39,286 basic salary + overtime
12. 33 days holiday (incl. bank holidays)
13. Pension, sick pay, free annual CPC training
